The latest version of "AllDataBase" has been uploaded, on the "AllDataBase" page. This version fixes the "Daily Play" bugs and operates in all versions of Excel.

I've deleted all the previous comments here because, I assume, our users have gotten past all the operational problems experienced in the beginning, and many of the comments were in reference to previous versions of AllData.

Since most of our users are members of the Pace Advantage forum, I have posted a poll, in the "Handifast" forum asking for your input regarding where you are having problems with either AllData NI or AllDataBase.

I have added another sub-menu page to the site. Hover your mouse cursor over the "AllDataBase" tab and a sub-menu page named "AllDataBase Help Document" will appear, click that sub-menu tab and you will be able to download a MS Word document with "Step 1" instructions, with screenshots, for operating "AllDataBase". I will continue adding to the help file as time goes by and as I am able.

First, I want to say that Ray and Harry have done some excellent work on their evolving project and wish to thank them for their efforts.

Those of you who are running both AllData NI Batch and AllDataBase, in Excel 2007, should have noticed that the Batch processing, in AllData NI Batch, and the querying, in AllDataBase, take a long time to run. This is due to compatibility issues between pre-2007 versions and the 2007 version.

I've uploaded the next step of instructions for AllDataBase.

I've added to "Step 2" the process for recalling previously saved setups, for further research or for use in "Daily Play". The latest version of "Step 2" is on the "AllDataBase/AllDataBase Help Document" sub-page.

The latest version of AllData NI Batch has been uploaded to the "AllData NI Batch - Download" page. Also, the "Step 4" help document has been uploaded to the sub-page, under, the "AllDataBase" tab. Both the new Batch version and the help document deal with "manual processing mode", allowing the overriding of "auto-paceline" selections and manual scratching of horses, for multiple cards, before clicking the "OUTPUT" button to populate the "ZZDAILY.xls" file for import into AlldataBase, and the subsequent running of the database in "Daily Play" mode.

New versions, for both workbooks, are near at hand! It's been a long road, sometimes extremely fun, sometimes extremely frustrating, but, I am of the opinion that these latest versions will, effectively, end the "Beta" phase for both workbooks.

I've updated AllDataBase_v10 with some cosmetic changes that I hadn't noticed before posting the version before. The new download has the same name as the original v10 download. I've also written the "Step 5" help document, for the latest versions, and have sent it to Harry for him to check before I upload it here on the site.

Maybe I'm just tired (not unusual), but I can't figure out how to download V10 of Alldatabase; I have downloaded V10 of Alldata NIbatch no problem...where do I find the new database file? Thanks!

The latest update to AllData NI Batch has been uploaded to the site. It will now import JCapper data files from HDW, as well as Brisnet/TSN data files, and works exactly the same as version 12.

I've just downloaded all programs and instructions, so i'm new to this. But i have previously developed various (semi-useful) spreadsheet handicapping systems starting with a Tandy color computer and a spreadsheet program called Spectaculator which plugged into the cartridge slot. Did a bit of work in excel and am now using open office spreadsheet 3.0 . So far as I can tell at this point your system works in Open Office. Will stay in touch. Thanks.

You're right it does not work. I had macros blocked before. The layout looks the same as in your instructions but the macros are no go.

hi thanks for your workbooks just started to use them. I just started using bris single drf, used the always data files before this, so i don't have many files. i hope i can find away to convert them to drf files and use them in my database. I did notice when you reset results, if you don't have any in the folder you get an error. Joined the alldata forum but have not been able to log on yet. I have some questions but will wait until i use j1 for a bit and figure out what i am doing.

I have uploaded the latest updated version of AllData_J1, in .xls format, for pre-2007 versions of Excel, and also in .xlsb format, for Excel 2007 and subsequent versions of Excel.

I have uploaded a new version of AllData J1 to the website, named AllData_J1c. This version fixes a problem we were having with JCapper/HDW files when quarter horse races were mixed in with thoroughbred races on the same card.

Thanks! Yeah, we long time Brisnet data file users have been asking for an unlimited download plan for years, and Bris seems like they could care less. Well, if they want to lose these long time loyal Bris members, so be it.

How do I get Brisnet files to open? I have DR2, 3, 4, and DRF file extensions and I have not found anything that will open them. Tried 7 zip, and the program from brisnet and both flopped

Open Excel, click "File" or click the Round icon at the top left corner, then select "Open", then navigate to the .drf file and click "Ok". You will get a "Wizard" that will convert the .drf comma-delimited file and open it in Excel.

Thanks for the quick comments Ray. Does the Black box program look similar to what I'm using now? I primarily view the Summery and pace pressure screens? How much are you charging for the black box program? Feel free to email me directly with this information if need be.
